Since 2001, Processing has promoted software literacy within the visual arts and visual literacy within technology. Initially created to serve as a software sketchbook and to teach computer programming fundamentals within a visual context, Processing evolved into a development tool for professionals. Today, there are tens of thousands of students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists who use Processing for learning, prototyping, and production.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/processing.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/processing.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Processing es un lenguaje de programaci\u00f3n y entorno de desarrollo integrado de c\u00f3digo abierto basado en Java, de f\u00e1cil utilizaci\u00f3n, y que sirve como medio para la ense\u00f1anza y producci\u00f3n de proyectos multimedia e interactivos de dise\u00f1o digital.
